    Good stretcher, good price!

Very happy with the purchase - this stretcher and a bit of diluted rubbing alcohol rescued a new pair of cowboy boots that I originally couldn't get off without help. And they were among the least expensive wood and stainless instep stretchers I could find, and I got them in a few days on basic shipping!

    Shoe Instep Raiser

Bought this to stretch the instep on a new pair of Doc Martin Slip-on shoes. The shoes are pretty solid with this the customary yellow stitching. They were fine when on but a little tight sliding the foot into. Used the Instep Raiser for 4 days on each shoe and it sorted the issue out. Kept checking each day so as not to over-do the stretching and thus a "Sloppy" fit shoe. Just a 1mm or so can make a world of difference. Quite pleased with the result as Doc Martins are not a cheap shoe!!

    This is the second Instep

This is the second Instep Stretcher that I have purchased. I have a high instep and often have trouble with slip-ons. I had been alternately using my original stretcher with the left then the right. Now a favorite pair has begun to give me trouble and I am needing to work on both simultaneously. I have several pair that are giving me trouble that had not been a problem. I like leaving both side, engaged while in the closet. These are lifesavers. I heartily recommend them.
