As I wrote in my review on eBay:
If you have hammertoes, then this is worth a try. To me, the fit and finish is not of the best quality, certainly not for this price. I don't know if this is because the number of potential buyers for this type of product is limited and I have not found any comparable products out there.
This lifter works pretty well. I depends on what type of material your shoes/boots are made of. Leather seems to work best, especially if you buy a shoe stretching spray to use in the process. Spray it a lot while stretching and let it dry completely.
For my boots, I am going to try to put a wedge or something in the boot first to give it more of a solid base to use to stretch it.
Only real complaint is that the ring supplied to hold the stretcher tight is very soft metal, almost like solder material, I am going to see if I can find something else at the hardware store.
Good luck. It is not inexpensive for what it is, but has offered me some relief.
