Got the job done.
However one of the stretchers’ heel block won’t screw clockwise or counterclockwise; seems to be stripped Fortunately, I’m stretching not lengthening but it would be nice to have the ability to if needed

Having sent back all 3 of the previous pairs of shoe stretchers I purchased, for being so flimsy that they never had a chance to stretch a single shoe, I think I've lucked out with these FootFitter 2-way stretchers: I have used them on a range of shoes, from ballet flats (leather and suede) to sneakers and a pair of Mary Janes with great success-- which is a life saver, since I am recovering from foot surgery and was dreading the prospect of having to replace all my shoes. So far so good!
