How to Use the FootFitter 2-Way Shoe Stretcher

Before You Begin...

1. The toe block (D) must be fully closed. Turn the widening handle (A) counterclockwise to close the toe block.

2. The heel block (C) must be as close to the toe block (D) as possible. Turn the lengthening wheel (B) clockwise to move the heel block fully forward.

3. This shoe stretcher comes with 3 spot stretching plugs (E) for corns, bunions and other pressure points. If needed, insert the plugs (E) into the corresponding plug spots on the toe block (D) prior to stretching.

  • Step 1:

Apply shoe stretch spray to the inside of your shoe to relax the material for stretching. You can also wipe the inside of the shoe with a cloth saturated with shoe stretch spray.

  • Step 2:

Insert the toe block into the toe box of your shoe. Make sure that the heel block is also within the shoe.

  • Step 3:

To lengthen the shoe, turn the lengthening wheel counter clockwise to move the heel block towards the back of the shoe. Once snug, turn 2 to 3 more time for a proper stretch.

  • Step 4:

To widen the shoe, turn the widening handle clockwise to expand the toe block. Once snug, turn 2 to 3 more times for a proper stretch.

  • Step 5:

Once your desired length and width settings are set, leave the stretcher in your shoe for at least 6 to 8 hours.

  • Step 6:

To remove the stretcher, turn the lengthening wheel clockwise and the widening handle counterclockwise to fully retract each block. Pull out slowly.
