This specially-designed boot stretcher frees up space in the instep or vamp (the area behind the toe box) of your boots. It alleviates pressure and chaffing at the top of your foot and ankle.
This stretcher features sturdy stainless steel hardware, and the blocks are made from German beechwood, so you know this tool can withstand the test of time without damaging your boots.

What I can say as a lifelong carpenter and handy person who also likes functional art, this thing is beautiful and F@#! Amazon. Who would EVER buy any of that amazon garbage when I could just buy this to LOOK at this tool. I have many many pairs of good shoes and boots,I have lodas of wooden "Stretchers" of all kinds from all over the world and made of all sorts of wood and metal, I have so many shoes, loads I have collected, resoled and cared for over many many years and I can't wait to see if my "dancers arches" and "runners feet" can finally benefit from not having to force break in shoes for weeks. Haven't painlessly gotten a pair of shoes out of the box in nearly my whole life of 49 years, which is a bigger problem than you might think. Dress lace ups never don't have a space/lump, I can always feel laces dig in, slip on shoes and boots cut the circulation off on the top of my foot within minutes and IM thin and fit AND my feet LOOK normal, but, hopefully this is a game changer. The footfitter vamp raiser is in a brand new pair of Dansko Pros right now, a shoe KNOWN for how tight it is on a normal foot. Can't wait to see if it makes the difference. A quality product regardless.
Both items here for boots and regular shoes solved by tight instep issues on different shoes. No fuss.
Sometimes you just have to know a few tricks of the shoe business! I could take my boots to the shoe repair and have them charge me every time or I could purchase and do it myself. If you have a foot injury it is worth the investment because your going to have to do this with each boot/shoe. Need to get that 1/4 or 1/2 size added to one boot/shoe. I must add they were fantastic with their service as I initially ordered the wrong stretcher but they fixed it and I recommend them!!!
Really liked the instep vamp stretched, but I ordered the wrong size, I initially ordered a men's medium but I wear a B width, so I returned the men's medium in exchange for a women's more narrow stretcher.
I used the instep stretcher as soon as I received it, and it works great! Thanks for a good product .
